Rather plain and simple really. Government employee. Somewhere in middle management overseeing facilities on an Army base.
I used to inspect construction all over the world. I spent a year in the Ukraine, building apartments for it’s soldiers. I spent two years in Turkey, building facilities for our Airmen. There I explored ancient Greek, Roman, and Armenian ruins, and enjoyed the genuine hospitality and good humor of the Turks. I spent half my life living and working in Germany, from where my mother stems. My father was a decorated Vietnam War vet.
Now, with a home and family of my own, my travels continue, unabated, into family memories, history books, and virtual worlds. And of course, enjoying the things to visit in my new neck of the woods.
I’ve played online since Neverwinter Nights came out. I did play a text based on-line game, over a telephone modem, prior to that. I played Subspace, Doom, Quake, Warcraft, and Total Annhilation. Prior to picking up World of Warcraft I played a soldier in Call of Duty.
Now, I’m just another player, with all the rest of you, in Azeroth. I blog to make a record of what I’ve done, where I’ve been, what I was I thinking. I hope it’s of interest to you.
EAKS
EAKS players often live by the phrase ‘The journey is often more enjoyable than the destination.’ They are motivated by meeting the challenges of the world, but they are usually in no rush–because seeing the creatures and places of the world is even more fun.

Hi Kinless,
I wanted to introduce you to Project Lore (http://www.projectlore.com), a new World of Warcraft site with guides and a daily video show hosted by Alex Albrecht of Diggnation and the Totally Rad Show. Alex and four of his friends one outlands instance per week, with each day’s episode covering one boss of that instance.
The site just launched last week, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve both the site and the show. You can see all of our episodes here:

Thanks for taking the time to check out Project Lore. I’d love to hear what you think; you can contact me directly at editor@projectlore.com. We are also still looking for spec guides right now, so if you are interested in writing anything, give me a shout.
Thanks again,
Brandon Sato
