That is to say Rather than spend last week working up from Rank 9 to Rank 10, very possible given 1: Alterac Valley Weekend, and 2: the holidays and some days vacation time, I instead just farted around on some alts. Rather than be Rank 10, Champion, with the last two pieces of Champion’s Gear for my Warrior, I instead just leveled a Paladin to 30.
I did not want to risk having Blizzard throw all my effort out in the trash.
I am, perhaps foolishly, going to try for it this week.

I accept “When it’s ready.” But why not give people a chance to stop their pvp grind and collect their rank.
The final week of honor is supposedly going to be erased. Wouldn’t you want to know which week is the final week?
Ouch. I’m sorry to hear that. I wish I’d noted the post that I read saying it was December. I didn’t pay to much mind to it since it wasn’t a Blue post and am not currently playing.
I agree, there is no real excuse for them not telling us, except that the BGs will empty out that week.
