Ding. 56. Nearly there.
Msaker made 56 the old fashioned way. I visited my friends, the Dreadmaul Ogres in the Burning Steppes, and, Orc-style, I left none alive. The last 15% I needed, after a night of questing with my wife and friend, took only like an hour. And I was rewarded with a bit of Runecloth and some nice greens for the Auction House.
He also earned Senior Sergeant too. My friends Shaman is also 56 now and also a Senior Sergeant. … I’ve got to say: It’s really cool to be hanging out there, just knocking stuff out, both of us with PvP ranks, on this sleepy RP server. I really feel like we’ve “gotten somewhere,” are going all the way, and have titles, and level, to show for it. The satisfaction of leveling up a fun-to-play character.

Nothing like a good old-fashioned grind to 60. I knocked off my last levels in Winterspring. 58-60 solely on the Yeti with the odd instance thrown in.
And you’re right, playing an enjoyable class makes all the difference in the world. Part of the reason I may never get my priest to 60, but have no problem grinding my hunter.
